By far the most satisfying kill I have had the pleasure of being a part of. This kill took a ton of patience, work, and more patience to get. I couldn't be more proud of all the raiders who have been with us from our transfer over to Wildhammer and to all the people that have either come from other guilds on WH or transferred here to raid with us.

Our journey through ICC had many ups and downs. We scored a very high placement for our guild with a U.S. 66th Normal mode Lich King, but then fell off because of the inevitable heroic mode progress attrition. Our Low Point was a U.S. 118th Heroic Putricide kill that should of come sooner had we not been struggling so hard on Sindragosa. I can't say enough about our raiders and how well we handled this roller coaster of an instance.

In the end we finished with a U.S. 64th kill of Lich King Heroic which is definitely within what we were hoping for.

Looking back on the instance now we only lost 8 total players from our original Lich King normal mode lineup. Three of which were long time members that will not easily be replaced in skill or in personality. Hate, Laeda, and Nisir were all amazing players and brought a lot to this guild so losing them over the course of our progression hurt badly. Hopefully they will decide to rejoin us for Cataclysm again though. Of the 8 total players 4 were healers, 1 was the healing officer. So we've been steadily trying to rebuild our healing core again. Now I'm very pleased to say this is the strongest healing core skill wise we have had to date. I look forward to raiding with all of them as they mesh together as a core in Cataclysm.

It could have been better but we are not going to complain. We are leaps and bounds ahead of where we ended last expansion and have been steadily rising up the rankings since then. We will now look to bolster our raiding roster going into Cataclysm even more and continue to improve.

About a year ago at this time we made the most important decision of our guilds lifetime so far.

We decided to pack our shit and get the fuck off of Blood Furnace, Destroyer of Guilds. Blood Furnace was an absolute nightmare to recruit people to and had literally no other guilds to recruit from. The lowest point in our guilds morale was the middle of Ulduar. We were losing people due to summer and lack of good progression. Having to bring in brand new trials daily just to be able to field a full raid. The guild was dying a slow death and everyone pretty much knew it. Refusing to give up and die we decided to make a bold move and transfer to a new server. It took us nearly 2 months to pick out a server and transfer. We were looking for a server that met our needs perfectly and would allow us the highest chance of immediate success. We wanted a medium population server so that we could avoid queue times and massive lag but also provided us with a much stronger base to recruit from than Blood Furnace offered us. We needed a server where we the number one guild for multiple reasons. Most importantly it would make us the guild that people wanted to join from the server instead of being a stepping stone to a higher ranked guild. There is no worse position in the world of warcraft raiding scene than being a feeder guild. Losing all your top players to a further progressed guild on your server is a tough situation to be in and we were not in good enough shape to handle trials getting in and gearing up to leave immediately. Like I said after nearly 2 months we narrowed it down to 3 or 4 servers. Finally we chose Wildhammer because it fit the best of our needs. WH had around 6,000 more players on it, had 4 guilds within 1-2 bosses of our progression, and did not experience major lag or queue times.

I love playing on Wildhammer and hope to continue to make it proud in the coming expansion.

So our entire guild transferred off Bad Furnace and to Wildhammer (minus 1 trial who stayed behind). We managed to get a Thorim hardmode (US 568th) kill the night before we transferred servers which made us the top guild on WH. We weren't received too well and ended up getting a lot of hate from the current citizens of WH (some of which is still at the start of our realm recruitment thread lol). But we noticed the impact the transfer had on our guild immediately. The morale was up and we started getting good apps again. Cutting this extremely long story short, this transfer was most definitely the best decision we've made as a guild. We couldn't ask for a better place to raid than Wildhammer. The community (for the most part) warmed up to us and have made raiding here great.

Since transferring here we went from a top 600 U.S. guild and 1000 in the World to U.S. 64th for ICC and 230 in the world. I'm proud of our guild as a whole and hope we can continue to improve.

Lastly I'm going to do some shoutouts:
  • Hate, Nisir, and Laeda got their personal shout out earlier.
  • Blazzy - he quit raiding seriously after Ulduar but is now coming back for cataclysm. He was they guy who helped start this guild 3 years ago. Was the raid leader for all of BC and a top raider up until ToC. We definitely wouldn't have gotten off the ground were it not for him.
  • Misstake (Blunder) - The lone recruit we have that started Karazhan with us. Back when I was flying around high level zones spamming our nub recruitment message over and over haha. He missed all of ICC progression but we're happy to welcome him back going into Cataclysm.
  • Blood Furnace Reppin: Dakel, Gadaris, Divit, Jimeh, Tabooger (Skeptical), Magictricks, Ullikummi, Rebound, Rakatashi and myself have all been around prior to the transfer. We've stuck through the best and the worst of times. All the awful players that we won't mention here. The losses of long time raiding friends and the great times we've had together building this guild up. I thank all of you for sticking around and hope we can continue to raid together and make fun of bads (including each other haha) in the next expansion.
  • Wildhammer Reppin: Soclever, Cryless, Valora, and Ladygaga. Four great players we've found right here on Wildhammer. Maybe there are more players from Wildhammer looking to become a part of Hallowed and make a big impact in WH raiding for cataclysm???
  • ToGC Transfers: Towlie and Renrim. You two have been solid nearly 100% attendance raiders since you joined, we were lucky to have found you guys and are happy to have you around still.
  • Icecrown Citadel Transfers: Autonomy, Shockenawe, and Servachuels. Shock n' Auto are our resident enhance and ele shaman duo who we picked up just prior to our first normal mode Lich King kill. They have been there for all our heroic progression and definitely contributed to our new ranking. Servach transferred mid ICC and made an immediate impact in our raids earning himself a core raiding spot quickly. Servach is next in line for our 4th Shadowmourne which we know he will definitely put to good use.
  • The new kids on the block: Fantassia, Charr, Vannawhite, Andromalia, Anaya, Jellal, Flay, Talaren, and Vexley. All of these players have joined very recently, some a mere two weeks ago and all have helped in our major progression on the Lich King. We couldn't have gotten this kill yet without you guys. I'm definitely excited to be raiding with all of you and hope we can continue to perform well together as a raiding group.
  • Not in the screenshot but not forgotten: Unfortunately in raiding you can't fit in your whole raiding roster. Here are some shout outs to players that deserved to be in there with us tonight but couldn't be. Charr, Mammie, Flay, Talaren, Ithenus, and Freaknik thanks to those of you who sat out for this kill.
  • Lastly a big fuck you to all the guilds that transferred off of Wildhammer and talked so much shit to us saying how we would never survive on. Some of your guilds have since died or are behind us in progression on your super high pop power servers. You all know who you are. Wildhammer may not be the top raiding server in the world but it's far from the shit hole you claim it is.
  • Even more lastly a shout out to JPmorgan. You're a jackass who has abandoned us many times, but you're OUR jackass. Maybe it's not good for us but you'll always be a part of Hallowed in one way or another. A real friend to everyone in the guild (when you're not busy ninja transferring and screwing everyone over =P) who I'm proud to know and call one of my good friends. He is an Iraq War Vet and departs for another tour across seas soon (or does he??). We will always love you in Hallowed and you make playing this game fun no matter what we're doing.

If you were not mentioned or forgotten I'm sorry. This was a long ass post and shit happens. Suck it up. If you didn't like your shout out or are jealous of someone's shout out I could give a fuck.

Yes I realize how incredibly long this update is. If you enjoy reading these type of things, you're welcome. If you don't, why the fuck are you still reading this then?

What a big relief it is to finally kill this boss.

ON TO CATACLYSM... and ruby sanctum I guess -_-

Be on the look out for the screen shot and videos to be updated on the front page soon.
